There is a new Dallas wall mural in town! We are thrilled to unveil a new, massive, wall mural of Downtown Dallas here at The Shops at Park Lane.

The new mural was thoughtfully designed by local artist, Mari Pohlman, as she incorporated over 70 notable buildings and landmarks found in the Dallas skyline also inspiring  The Shops at Park Lane’s very own skyline where you will recognize retailers Old Navy, Whole Foods, and Starbucks. The 2,000 square foot mural took over 150 hours to paint with the help of Mari’s team of artists: Jim Shepherd, Lauren Lewchuk, Alec DeJesus, Mariell Guzman, and Micki Jeffus.

“I love the view of downtown Dallas from the highway, and that view is what inspired this mural. The experience while driving through the mural is meant to feel like driving through downtown towards Park Lane. It was really exciting to see the entrance to the parking garage transformed from a dull color into a super colorful skyline, and it was great hearing feedback from cars driving by during the two weeks when we were out painting this mural. I’m so grateful for my team members who showed up and helped me make this design into a reality. Painting it as a team not only made it go by faster but also makes it feel less like work. We all love what we do, and getting to hang out with friends while painting is the best way to conquer a mural of this scale (my largest ever).” – Mari Pohlman

The new ‘Park Lane Dallas’ wall mural is located near the HomeGoods parking garage and is situated between Aveda Institute, Saint Bernard, and Bloomingdales The Outlet.
