Something big is happening
at Dallas’ flagship Starbucks at The Shops at Park Lane. Starbucks Evenings
have arrived, ushering in a new era for everyone’s favorite coffee shop: wine,
craft and local beer, and a menu of small plates are now being served starting
at 2pm on weekdays and noon on weekends! As if we didn’t spend enough time at
We had the pleasure of
experiencing Starbucks Evenings on opening night, and it was just as awesome as
we thought it would be. The wine was served at the perfect temperature in
stemless Riedel glasses with the phrase “take a moment or three” printed across
them, and the selection of local and craft beer was on point.
Each glass of wine comes
with a small dish of zesty “pepitas” (a.k.a. seasoned pumpkin seeds), that are
the perfect salty, crunchy accompaniment. The chicken, sausage & mushroom,
and artichoke & goat cheese flatbreads were tasty and satisfying, and the
cheese plate was restaurant-worthy. We’re excited to try the truffle mac &
cheese and bacon-wrapped dates on our next visit.
Take a peek at the menu, and
imagine sipping a cold one while noshing on warm truffle popcorn (sure to
become our new addiction) on your next trip to Starbucks.
