January 2006: Implosion of a 10-story office building makes way for site preparation, including grading and utilities.
March 2006: Approximately one-hundred 12-22” caliper trees were moved to an on site tree farm and replanted as part of the completed project. Nationally renowned firms MESA and Environmental Design provided the landscape design and transplanting services.
June 23, 2006: Started the ceremonial ground breaking and start of site/utility construction; during the course of construction, more than 1.5 million cubic yards of dirt were moved – the equivalent of filling 459 Olympic swimming pools.
